Apple Poaches Another Tesla Engineer
Apple Inc. has hired another executive from Tesla Inc., presumably to help with the company’s secretive Titan autonomous vehicle program, Bloomberg News reports.

Steve MacManus now lists himself on LinkedIn as a senior director at Apple. He had been Tesla’s vice president of engineering for vehicle interiors and exteriors. MacManus joined Tesla three years ago after posts at Aston Martin, Bentley and Jaguar Land Rover.
Last August Apple coaxed Doug Field, former Tesla chief vehicle engineer, to return after a five-year stint at Tesla. Last year Apple also poached Jamie Carlson, Autopilot engineer in August and gained Andrew Kim, senior design manager in December.
Apple hired Michael Schwekutsch, Tesla’s former drive systems chief, four months ago.
