Owners of Kia Motors Corp.’s plug-in hybrid and pure-electric vehicles now can buy a 240-volt home charging system for the cars on Amazon.com.

At a dedicated Amazon portal, Kia owners can compare various charging systems and read user ratings and reviews. Prices for recommended Level 2 chargers from Bosch, ChargePoint and JuiceBox range from $550 to $700. Customers also can schedule installations, covered by an Amazon warranty, with a licensed electrician.

The entire process can be completed before taking delivery of an electrified Kia vehicle, the carmaker says. Kia currently offers four plug-in models: electric and hybrid versions of the Niro crossover, the battery-powered Soul EV (above) and a plug-in hybrid variant of the Optima sedan.

Audi announced a similar deal with Amazon last September. Audi’s plan covers the purchase and installation of a Level 2 charger for the e-Tron crossover.
