Lear Corp. has made an unspecified investment in Maniv Mobility, an Israel-based venture capital fund that specializes in advanced mobility technology.
The outlay was made through the Southfield, Mich.-based supplier’s Lear Innovation Ventures arm.
Founded in 2016, Maniv invests in early-stage developers of autonomous, connected, ridesharing and other mobility-related systems. The company lists more than two dozen investments in its portfolio, including Aurora Labs, Autotalks, C2A Security, Drive.ai, Ontonomo, Ridecell, Turo and Upstream.
Valeo and Jaguar Land Rover’s InMotion Ventures unit previously have invested in Maniv.
