Volkswagen AG is launching a new advertising campaign to showcase its various driver-assist systems to be marketed under the carmaker’s new IQ.Drive brand.

Television commercials will be launched later this week in Germany, with other European markets to follow next year. The program also will include print and online ads, plus posters and other marketing tools.

The IQ.Drive brand includes currently available driver-assist technologies such as parking assist, lane-keeping assist and automatic emergency braking. The first vehicles using the marketing campaign will arrive in European dealerships next month.

The brand also will be used for next-generation products that enable fully autonomous driving and remote parking. VW worked with Hamburg, Germany-based agency Grabarz & Partner to develop the campaign.

The first commercial features VW’s ID.Vizzion1 concept electric car (above) that includes a host of advanced-driver-assist systems. After riding in the vehicle, a boy concludes that autonomous vehicles can be stylish and fun to drive.
