Online Travel Giant Invests $500 Million in DiDi Chuxing
Bookings Holding, which operates a variety of travel-related web sites, has invested $500 million in Chinese ride-hailing giant DiDi Chuxing Technologies Co.
Bookings Holdings, which operates a variety of travel-related web sites, has invested $500 million in Chinese ride-hailing giant DiDi Chuxing Technologies Co.
Bookings’ brands include Booking.com, Agoda, Kayak, Priceline, Rentacars.com and OpenTable. The partnership with DiDi will integrate the services of both companies, allowing customers to use a common app to book travel and ride-hailing services.
Bookings operates in more than 220 countries. DiDi offers a full range of app-based transportation services for 550 million users in China, Australia, Japan, Mexico and South America.
