ZF Friedrichshafen AG has acquired a 60% share of 2getthere B.V., which operates driverless electric shuttles and other mobility-as-a-service systems. Financial details weren’t provided.
2getthere says it has accumulated more than 100 million km (62 million miles) of autonomous mileage with driverless passenger and cargo vehicles at airports and business parks in Abu Dhabi, Rotterdam and Singapore.
The vehicles (pictured), which were developed in conjunction with Italian coachbuilder Zagato, use 2getthere’s software and controls technologies.
